Alphabet Book

Payton and I made an alphabet book a couple of days ago. I had lots of foam rectangles and foam letters. I really want her to learn the letters. Like to identify what each letter is. I thought this might be a good way to help her learn them! Plus, it’s a fun craft! I haven’t attached them. But, I do plan to punch wholes and get some kind of ring time thing to make it a “book”. She was pretty proud of it! 

Her favorite letter….. pretty much the one she picks out anytime she sees a “R”, she tells me!

And then of course a “P” for Payton!!!

 

Happy 4th of July

I have been lazy and not sewing much. I had intended on making Payton a new dress for the 4th, well really to wear to church this past Sunday, but I never got around to it. Then, this morning I decided to whip up an outfit for her. This was the quickest thing I could come up with!

Brave

We took Payton to see “Brave” last Saturday. I thought the movie was pretty good. There were “scary” parts. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone so I won’t give too much information. Payton did do really well and I tried to warn her a couple of times before the bear would come out. And when we left she said she wanted to watch it again. But, this is something she says every time we watch a movie at home. I am pretty sure she would not have sat through another movie! :)

I just took a few pictures of her before while Phil was buying our tickets!

                                           

Visit with Granny

We went to visit with Granny this past Friday. She spoiled us and made all sorts of food for lunch. And brownies and cookies for dessert!!! Had a good visit as usual! The girls are pretty good at entertaining themselves. I did bring a craft I had meant to do with them the other day but the day got away from me.

After lunch the girls wanted to do their craft! Coffee filters, markers and pipe cleaner. It makes a really pretty flower. The girls gave theirs to granny and I totally didn’t get a picture of the finished product!

      

     

We were laughing so hard in the next two pictures!! We had Granny laughing!!

  

We were going to get a picture with all three girls but Grace wasn’t having it. It was right when we were walking out the door to leave. They were all tired.

                      

So sad!
