Getting Ready for Baby #2

I wanted to write a blog post explaining how I feel and what my emotions are as I am getting ready to have my 2nd baby girl. I really am not sure where this will go or what I will say. But, thought it would be nice to look back on one day, not only for me but for Paisley. When I found out I was pregnant I was in shock and really couldn't believe it. And really throughout my entire pregnancy it has been so surreal. Even when I feel her kicking or moving all over the place I almost still can't believe that God chose me and let me carry this baby. Getting pregnant this time around was not so easy. I guess this is why at times I still can't believe I am going to be a mother to TWO. I am beyond excited and thrilled to meet Paisley. I can't wait to hear her first cry. I can't wait for them to hold her up for the first time and to see her sweet face. I can't wait to be her mommy. I can't wait to see my first born become a sister and to see the love she (already) has for her baby sister. I have a feeling I will be an emotional wreck in the morning. I already am as I write this post. I feel so blessed that I am going to have anothebaby. And I pray everyday that she is healthy. As excited as I am for this big event in our lives, I have some fears too. Which I think is only natural. I am nervous for my c-section. I just want everything to be ok and for our sweet baby to be ok too. Trusting Him. It's all I can do. I thought I may ramble on more, but I think I am done. :) My final belly picture....... 39 Weeks

Four Christmases

Last weekend we had all four of our family Christmases in one weekend. We wanted to make sure we got to have all of them before the baby comes. I didn’t take that many pictures at any of the houses so I am combining all in one post. I wasn’t feeling the best and then getting up and taking pictures is hard work sometimes, ha.

Saturday lunch we went to Phil’s dads. Phil actually had to work so just Payton and I went.

Christmas Morning 2013

Here is what our Christmas morning looked like!! We had one excited 4 year old. She came in and woke us up at about 8:45 (we were both really tired). And she had already been in the living room and then came back in our room and woke us up yelling “he came, Santa came and he brought me a lot of stuff” I loved hearing the excitement in her voice!! And then watching her open her presents was pretty special too.

This picture cracks me up. She is a little stinker.

I didn’t even get a picture of me and Phil with her. I intended too and then just didn’t. I also forgot to take video. I have to get better about that because I don’t want to forget how her little voice sounds!!

Christmas Eve (Making Cookies For Santa) 2013

On Christmas Eve Payton and I made some cookies for Santa. She was into it at first and enjoyed cutting the cookies out. And wanted to decorate a few and then she was over it and told me I could decorate the rest. But, we still had fun doing it! And she was really excited to leave the cookies for Santa.
