The other day I got the girls new plates and new cups. I thought they were cute, and I thought I made their plates cute! Well, of course Payton and Parker both didn’t hardly touch their lunch! Grace did, I can always count on her!
I even put little marshmellow bunnies on there!!
Ok, so maybe they took a bite or two
Payton has really started taking interest in movies. I think because her cousin “Darter” Parker does too!! Her current favorite movie is “Rella” Cinderella!! We have to watch this each time we get in the car! She points to quite a few movies and tells me which ones they are, just by looking at the pictures!!
Oh yeah, she also loves to make a mess with them. She takes them all out of the shelf!

Last night Payton and I went to watch Jackson play his first T-ball game. It was so cute! He looked so cute in his little uniform too!! All the little boys would run to get the ball. Some would run in the opposite direction, and some would just stay in one spot!

Just one more month till our baby girl is TWO years old!!!!!!! Wow, where does the time go? I get kind of emotional when I think about how fast it has gone by!!
Payton is up to so much!!
For starters, she has started to bite me, and only me. She will bite through my shirt and actually she has done it through my pants while standing in line at Lowes. She gets spanked for this. I think the first time was maybe an accident, but now she does it because she thinks it is funny. Mommy doesn’t find it very funny. It hurts pretty bad!!
If I sneeze, she says “Bless you Mommy”
She tells me “I love you Mommy”
Payton has really started throwing a lot of things! Of course she throws a ball, but at times she will throw her shoe, the remote, anything she is trying to give us. She isn’t trying to hurt us, but sometimes it does!
Payton LOVES shoes! She always wants to put on her shoes. She loves to change her clothes. She still likes to pick out her clothes, and it has been hard to get her to put on her “spring/summer” clothes. She is getting better by the day though!
Payton is a very picky eater. It is really hard to find things that she likes to eat. Here lately she hasn’t had much of an appetite. And mostly I think that has to do with her not feeling so well.
Loves to talk about Darter and Tae, Parker and Grace.
Always sings, “Where is Darter, Where is Darter” Or “Where is Mommy, Where is Daddy” “Where is Tayton, Where is Tayton” (Payton)
Payton is making lots of sentences. She repeats anything we say. Sometimes it is funny, even the hard words she will repeat. She will ask “What’s that Mommy” and when I tell her, she repeats it!
Loves the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We still watch a few Word Worlds and Barneys here and there.
Wears size 5 diapers.
We started buying 3T clothes because all of her 24mo/2T clothes were getting too short. 3T is still big on her, but the length is good!!
Wears size 8 shoes.
Payton goes to bed around 8:30 and wakes up 12 hours later, usually.
Taking about and hour and a half nap each day. Some days we miss nap, she will fight it once or twice a week.
LOVES to go outside. She still loves her “baby swing” that’s what she calls it!! Enjoys playing in the sand cart outside.
Payton has really become such a good “mommy” to her babies. She is starting to “pretend” play. She will put her babies night night and sometimes pretend to feed them. At times I have found her talking to her babies, sort of how I talk to her. It is so sweet, and makes me smile!! She gives them kisses and hugs too!!
We have big plans for the week of her Birthday! I am excited to do fun things with her that week, Phil will be home with us!!
I will add pictures later! Just hasn’t been pretty to go outside and snap some! Maybe later today I will!!
We finally started our flower beds!! We wanted to do it last year, but we decided to wait until this year. Well, we weren’t sure that we were even going to do it this year, but after reading Megan’s post on their flower beds, made me want to get ours done!!! Which we aren’t done yet…. But the hard part seems to be over with!!

Next weekend we are laying stones in our backyard, but we will still find time to plant our flowers and plants too!!
It really looks much better out there, even without anything planted!! Just adds to the house!
I have mentioned before that Payton pretends to clean when I am cleaning. But, on this day she knew she made a mess and went to get her broom to sweep it up! She had a few Hershey kisses and the wrappers fell between her chair and the chase lounge. She tried moving the chair herself, but it was too heavy. So, I moved it for her and then she began to sweep her mess! Sure did make me smile!!

Payton LOVES the color purple!! Or should I say she loves to say the word PURPLE!!! She does know what color purple is, but she also likes to say that all colors are purple!!

This past weekend we went to 3 Birthday celebrations.
Saturday night we went to Garrett’s 3rd Birthday party. And would you believe I ran off and forgot my camera. I was so mad at myself. But, I stole a few from Kelli’s Facebook page just to make the blog post more interesting!!
Can you tell what kind of party? SPIDERMAN!!! Kelli had it decorated all cute! He also had a Spiderman bounce house!!
