Payton's Glasses
We finally got Payton's glasses in last Thursday. At first, I don't think she was too excited about them. But, it didn't take long and she is used to them now. They get really dirty with her sticky fingers touching them all day. She tells me when we need to clean them. But, she looks beautiful in them. :)

Eye Dr. Visit
We went for Payton's eye doctor appointment on Wednesday. She has failed her vision test at her last couple of Well visits so we went ahead and went back for another look. She is a little nearsighted in her right eye and a tad stigmatism. I don't understand all the eye terms completely, but basically she tries to focus a little too hard on her right eye. Which means she would eventually only depend on her left eye and then the right eye would become a lazy eye. So, we ordered glasses. He doesn't feel like this will be something long term, but it will help build the strength that she needs in her right eye. We go back in 3 months to see if it has helped.
These are the glasses we ended up ordering. She wanted purple of course. I hope I went with the right ones, kind of a lot to take in. And it stressed me out. I know if this is all that is wrong with my child, then I am beyond blessed. It could be worse, I just of course never thought my 4 year old would need glasses. But, I know she will be fine.
Waiting to see the Dr.
After her eyes were dilated. She didn't wear these but for two seconds, but she thought it was funny.
Testing her eyes
Tried on a few pair, her eyes were dilated so she couldn't see very well and was annoyed trying on all the glasses. She was ready to go home, as was I.
