We had a long… yet dun Saturday as a family!!
First, we started out by going to pick up my new sewing machine. I had some issues with my other one (even though it was less than 6 months old) so I got a new and better one!! Then, headed to the mall to spend our gift card from Macy’s that we got from Phil’s Grandpa Ron (Karen’s dad). Went to Babies R Us to pick up some diapers. Went to eat Cheddar’s and used a gift card that one of Phil’s customers (that he delivers too) gave him for Christmas. Then, off to Rooms to go to shop for new furniture!! (Didn’t get any, YET…. We can’t decide how we want the living room arranged yet. But did fall in love with a couple).
Headed home… in hopes that Payton would nap. But, she kept crying every time I would say “Ok, let’s go NITE NITE” (I know I am weak) And since it is Saturday and Phil is home with us, I said “Let’s go do something FUN as a family” (After reading Megan's blog post it really made me want to take Payton somewhere out of the ordinary) We I wanted to go to the Zoo, but it would be closing at 4 o’clock and it was already 2 o’clock…. So, we decided let’s go to the Dallas World Aquarium.
And yes, she is wearing short sleeves. It was hot out today, and when I first put them on she starting pulling on her short sleeve, and I said “It’s ok Payton” and she was fine.. thank goodness!
As you can imagine…. Payton was tired and DID need a nap…

I freaked out right here… Phil let her put her hands up there and she reached to put them in the water… All the while all the fish are swimming towards us because they think we are going to feed them… I think I yelled really loud.. My heart pounded pretty fast.. I scared Payton (Phil looked at me like I was crazy) and I am sure I freaked out for no reason but I didn’t know what those fish could do!!

Then, we went to Toys R Us to get a gift for Cayden (Kylie’s big brother), to Dollar Tree, and to Hobby Lobby!!!
And lastly, McDonald's
It was Cayden’s 3rd Birthday today so we met Phil’s mom, sister, grandmom, Kelly’s best friend, her mom, Cayden and Kylie
We were the first ones there.. And brave Payton took off my herself and had a blast!!!

We had a GREAT day.. I am exhausted!!!! I know my baby girl was too!! She didn’t even fight me to put her to bed!!
