Yesterday we had both girls WELL visits at the Dr. Payton is done with shots until about 11 yrs old. She got her last round of Boosters at her 4yr visit last year. But, poor Paisley it’s only just begun for her shots. :( I must say she did much better this time than at her 2mo WELL visit. She cried, but stopped once I picked her up.

Paisley Stats:
Weight: 14lbs 8ounces (75%)
Height: 25 1/2inches (90%)
Head: 41.5 cm (75%)
(Better late than never… )
Our big 4 year old. Got all her booster shots and she didn’t even cry. The nurses said they wished all 4 year olds were like her!! :)
Height: 42 1/2 92 percentile
Weight: 41.6 85 percentile
She also failed her vision test, so we are going to the eye doctor to see what is going on.
Just one more month till our baby girl is TWO years old!!!!!!! Wow, where does the time go? I get kind of emotional when I think about how fast it has gone by!!
Payton is up to so much!!
For starters, she has started to bite me, and only me. She will bite through my shirt and actually she has done it through my pants while standing in line at Lowes. She gets spanked for this. I think the first time was maybe an accident, but now she does it because she thinks it is funny. Mommy doesn’t find it very funny. It hurts pretty bad!!
If I sneeze, she says “Bless you Mommy”
She tells me “I love you Mommy”
Payton has really started throwing a lot of things! Of course she throws a ball, but at times she will throw her shoe, the remote, anything she is trying to give us. She isn’t trying to hurt us, but sometimes it does!
Payton LOVES shoes! She always wants to put on her shoes. She loves to change her clothes. She still likes to pick out her clothes, and it has been hard to get her to put on her “spring/summer” clothes. She is getting better by the day though!
Payton is a very picky eater. It is really hard to find things that she likes to eat. Here lately she hasn’t had much of an appetite. And mostly I think that has to do with her not feeling so well.
Loves to talk about Darter and Tae, Parker and Grace.
Always sings, “Where is Darter, Where is Darter” Or “Where is Mommy, Where is Daddy” “Where is Tayton, Where is Tayton” (Payton)
Payton is making lots of sentences. She repeats anything we say. Sometimes it is funny, even the hard words she will repeat. She will ask “What’s that Mommy” and when I tell her, she repeats it!
Loves the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We still watch a few Word Worlds and Barneys here and there.
Wears size 5 diapers.
We started buying 3T clothes because all of her 24mo/2T clothes were getting too short. 3T is still big on her, but the length is good!!
Wears size 8 shoes.
Payton goes to bed around 8:30 and wakes up 12 hours later, usually.
Taking about and hour and a half nap each day. Some days we miss nap, she will fight it once or twice a week.
LOVES to go outside. She still loves her “baby swing” that’s what she calls it!! Enjoys playing in the sand cart outside.
Payton has really become such a good “mommy” to her babies. She is starting to “pretend” play. She will put her babies night night and sometimes pretend to feed them. At times I have found her talking to her babies, sort of how I talk to her. It is so sweet, and makes me smile!! She gives them kisses and hugs too!!
We have big plans for the week of her Birthday! I am excited to do fun things with her that week, Phil will be home with us!!
I will add pictures later! Just hasn’t been pretty to go outside and snap some! Maybe later today I will!!
Today Payton is 22 Months Old!!!! 2 more months until she is a TWO YEAR OLD!!! Oh this makes me sad!! I mean happy, but I want her to stay a baby! Not how it works out, I know!! :)
I will say that this month started out as being very WHINY!!!! But, she has overcome that somewhat the past week or so.
I don’t have any pictures to post. I will try to take some later and post. But, I wanted to get all this good info posted so I wouldn’t forget!!! :)

Loves to talk! I find that she says a new word everyday!! Sometimes she even says stuff, and I have to stop and think “How on earth did she know how to say that?”
Payton is shy. It takes her a little bit of time to warm up to people she doesn’t know. She loves her Aunts, cousins, and grandparents!!
FOOD: WE WASTE A LOT OF FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Payton is SUCH a picky eater. I do not know what else to do… I guess she will eat when she wants… But, it is frustrating at times when she won’t eat hardly anything. Makes it hard for me to want to cook anything for dinner. I am always having to make two things. Something for Phil and I, and then something for Payton!!
These are a few things she eats. But, not every time will she even eat these things. It is hit or miss.
Payton loves to go outside! I am not looking forward to the hot summer days.. But I think we will be spending a lot of time at the pool again this summer! She had been playing in her sand and water cart a lot lately. And really enjoys to swing!
Loves to watch TV. And maybe I let her watch it too much, but most of the time I feel like she is learning a lot. I think that is where she learns some of the stuff she says when I know I haven’t taught her that! Her favorites are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Word World, Barney, and anything else on KERA.
SLEEP:
Wears size 4 diapers, just using them all up and then she will start wearing size 5.
Wears size 2T clothes.
Getting better at brushing her teeth. Still a challenge on most days.
Wears size 8 shoes.
VERY picky!! I could probably count on one hand what she eats on a daily basis… and here and there I can get her to eat other things.
Another month has passed us by.
What is Payton up to? OH SO MUCH!!! She is quite the little rascal.
Saying all kinds of words. Here are some that I can think of off the top of my head. (kind of a lot.. :) )
And some of these words she doesn’t say how they are spelt… but I don’t know how to spell it like she say it… HA
She will just about repeat anything you ask her too. Her speech is very clear, to me anyway.
Just since yesterday she has started saying “ NO” for everything. Even when she means YES. I don’t know what brought this on. It was seriously like we woke up yesterday and she forgot to tell us UH-HUH after everything, so instead she says “NO” Which makes things quite interesting.
She loves to say “Mommy, hold you” in the SWEETEST voice EVER!!! I bet she says it 100 times a day, and my heart melts every time she says it. I seriously love the way she says it. Makes me smile just thinking about it!
She loves to be held. I probably spend most of my day holding her/sitting in my lap.
Since Christmas is around the corner we have been trying to get her to say things like “Santa” and Snowman” She responds very well. Gosh she is growing up so fast.
She has become a pretty picky eater. It is hard for me to find things that she will eat, and actually eat well.
Here are some things she eats/drinks. And some are on occasion.
Payton loves to play with her babies. She is constantly carrying them around with a purse on her shoulder and goes and gets into her Cozy Coupe car. We can’t go anywhere without baby. If we leave without her, you better turn the car around to get her.
She has started putting coins in her piggy bank. She loves to do this. We have to watch her closely because sometimes she likes to try and put them in her mouth. But, for the most part she is good about not doing it.
Loves to be outside. I’m not sure what we will do when it is too cold to go out.
She goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:00
Sleeps usually 12 hours
Takes 1-2 hour naps (depends on the day)
She is wearing size 4 diapers
Has a lot of teeth

Today Payton is 18 months!! I really can’t believe it. She is doing so much more everyday. Her vocabulary is especially growing. I love waking up each day to hear or see what she is going to do “new” everyday.

Payton has really started becoming a good “mommy” to her baby. She loves to push her around in the stroller, feed her a bottle, rock her, change her diaper, and lay her on a blanket.
Loves to play in her cozy coupe car. She plays with my purse and tells us BYE over and over.
Loves to play with her toothbrushes. She makes it hard to brush her teeth because she wants to do it herself.
Have to leave the toilet seats closed. She dunked “Baby” in there one day. Likes to play with the toilet paper as well.
Loves to watch ELMO. That is her current favorite. She can say Elmo, World world, and Bar (Barney). So she let’s us know what she wants to watch. :)
Loves to put on shoes. And bring you your shoes so that you can put them on too.
She loves to pretend to sweep the floor. She also loves to play with the play vacuum (at Parker’s).
Payton’s eating: Does not like many things these days.

You are such a busy body!!! Talking so much more. You are Miss Independent that is for sure. You think you are bigger than you really are!!
Payton has really started to throw fits when she doesn’t get her way. I am not sure if this is normal or if it is because I give her everything she wants. I am sure some of both. Sometimes I just have to laugh at her. I get so frustrated at times so then I give in and let her have her way…. Probably not the best decision. When we are at home and she gets mad she goes and stand in the corner between the couch and the TV stand. I usually have a box of toys there but I moved them a few weeks ago and since then that is where she goes and cries. She doesn’t stay there long. But it is just funny that she does that.
