Paisley @ 18 Months

My sweet girl is 18 months today. Where has the time gone? I haven’t been the best at blogging lately. I used to blog each month when Payton was this age. I guess you can say life is busier this time around. :)

What is this busy little girl up too?

Talking: She will repeat just about anything you say.

Momma; Dadda; Sissy; Phil; Poppa, Mamma; Arker (Parker); Grace; Bubba (Nolan) Car; Keys; Bye-Bye; HI; Shoes; THANK YOU; Cheese; Baby and many more that I can’t think of at the moment….

Eating: She is a pretty picky eater.. She loves meats (well most meats.. Chicken, taco meat, etc) fruits.. Strawberries, sometimes watermelon, sometimes Blueberries; Sometimes grapes…. and she likes mandarin oranges; she will drink yogurt drinks… and will eat yogurt. It is hard to find things that she likes. She will also eat cheese. She does not drink milk.

Diapers: size 4

Clothes: 18 months

Shoes: size 5

Loves her mommy!! She always wants me near. She cries and freaks out often if she thinks I am leaving her. She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Loves to drink water. When we go to the swimming pool she tries to drink all of the nasty pool water. She is fearless and has to be watched at the pool. She will just walk and step in the pool with no fear. She doesn’t necessarily like to stay in the water.. she just likes having the freedom to do whatever she wants to do.

She loves playing with keys and getting in her car. She loves her babies.

She keeps me on my toes. She loves to throw fits when she does not get her way. She is a wild child to say the least HA! We love you Paisley Gayle and slow down on growing!!

Happy 1st Birthday Paisley

A little late…..

One year ago, I gave birth to you! I get teary eyed as I even begin to write this. I am so grateful for you. I thank God each day for giving you to me. You keep us laughing and smiling all the time. We love you more than you will ever know. This year has literally flown by. I love watching you grow, even though I wish time would slow down. You have added so much to our little family and made us a family of 4.

What is Paisley up too??

 

Talking: Mama, Daddy, Dada, Poppa, Sissy, Bye-Bye, Bye, Hi, Hey, Tank you (Thank you), Tee-tee, baby, ball

Mobility: Walking everywhere, climbing onto everything (i.e. fireplace, chairs) She pretty much runs too!!

Things she loves: Loves to be held still, she cuddles so sweet, she smiles all the time, laughs all the time, she loves to drink water, she loves to eat anything you have, loves her pacifiers, LOVES to give kisses and hugs.

Paisley Gayle you are pretty much into EVERYTHING. I guess that could almost be an understatement. HA. You love to follow everyone around, you can’t miss anything!! You are so sweet and love to get attention!!

Sleep: Bedtime at 7p and wakes up anywhere from 6-7a naps two hours after getting up and usually sleeps 45min-1 1/2 hours then ready for a 2nd nap 3 hours from that. Usually sleeps 1 1/2-2hours that nap.

Clothes: 12mo and 18mo

Diapers: Pampers size 4

Eating: very picky, likes chicken, usually most meats, cheese, yogurt, banana, grapes, blueberries (depends on the day if she will eat these fruits), baby food pouches (sometimes)

Still taking a bottle… she is on organic whole milk. I need to get her off the bottle I just haven’t gotten motivated yet, she loves her bottle.

She has 8 teeth. I think she may be trying to cut more.

I took these when Paisley turned 10 months but I haven’t had a chance to post!

For some reason right when I put her in the chair she started crying! Then I let her have the camera lens cap and she got over it!

What is she up too??

Mobility: Crawling super fast. Stands up on her own without pulling up on anything. Can be standing in the middle of the room and just stands up. Has taken 5 steps without holding onto anything. If she walks with her push walker she is really fast walking. Holds onto furniture (table, couch, fireplace, etc) and walks wherever she wants too.

Eating: still eats five 6ounce bottles a day, eats breakfast (baby food, yogurt, pancakes) for dinner/snacks eats (puffs, yogurt melts, yogurt, she has tried chicken, rice, chicken salad sandwich, bread, etc) she seems to be very picky. It is a challenge to feed her most days. I assume it will all work out how it is supposed to in a couple of months when we go to whole milk and take the bottle away.

Diapers: size 4

Clothes: size 12 months

Talking: Ma-Ma, Dada, bye, Hi, Hey, bye-bye (waves bye-bye and lifts her hand to say HI) talks some gibberish, tries to repeat what you say a lot of the time when you ask her too, it just doesn’t always sound right of course.

Sleep: Goes to bed at 6:30-6:45 and sleeps until 6am sometimes a little longer but not usually

Loves to be held!! Loves to be outside!! Hates to have her diaper changed or clothes changed. It is becoming more of a challenge each day. Enjoys bath time but tries to stand up in the bath. Gets excited when she sees her Daddy! Gets excited when she sees someone she knows.

I can tell she is going to be a climber… she likes to climb on things! Loves to get into anything she “thinks” she isn’t suppose to. Laughs a lot! Smiles a lot! She is a happy and healthy baby and we are SO thankful!!! Give all the Glory to Him for sure!!!
