Painting Flower Pot

We bought a small flower pot a couple of months ago for Payton to paint. We just haven’t gotten around to it. She always asks me, but I give her an excuse each time. Well the other morning Lizzy was taking a long nap and so I let her paint it. We originally wanted to get it and let her plant a flower with a seed. But, when we got it they said they didn’t have anymore seeds left for the year. I guess I thought that was kind of odd. And thought I could find some somewhere, but I never went searching! So, that’s the plan eventually!! So Payton can water it and watch it grow!!

Pioneer Woman’s Ice Cream Pops

This past Saturday Payton helped me make Pioneer Woman's ice cream freezer pops. You can find the recipe here.  I didn’t follow her recipe exactly. I used bigger cups, but only because that’s the only size Wal-Mart had. I also used Reese miniatures instead of the big ones. They turned out pretty good. So, I probably will do the same next time.

Playing Outside

Friday night Phil got off early, so we met him to eat dinner. Then, came home and he decided to go ahead and mow so Payton and I played outside!

She was having SO much fun!!!

Houston & Galveston Beach

We went to see Kelly and Luis and made a trip to the beach. This was Payton’s first time to the beach!! Galveston isn’t the prettiest beach and the water isn’t that clean, but it was still the beach!!!
