Kinder Graduation 2015

I am so behind on posting this! But, Payton had her kinder graduation the last week of school. I can’t believe she is going into 1st grade!! She is growing before my very eyes. I love watching her grow but it makes me so sad because I want her to stay little.

We loved our kindergarten teacher, Mrs.. Routen. She was so great to Payton and sure made it easier on me having a teacher that we love.

 

 

Payton's Art Show at School

Last Friday, Payton's school had an art show. Their was art displayed thoughout the hallways in the school. Got to see some of the different art work that she has done. They also had face painting too! She had lots of fun and got to run around with her friends. I couldn't even get pictures because they were running around all over the school 😀

Junie B. Jones Day and Character Breakfast

Last Friday, Payton dressed up at school for Junie B. Jones day. It's a series of chapter books that kids read. And that same morning, she had a chick fil a breakfast in the library wit the cow. She was chosen by her teacher.. for the girl from their class to be put in the drawing to represent kindergarten and she was chosen. She is a great student and I'm very proud of her.

Watch D.O.G.S. With Payton

Phil got to be the Watch Dog at Payton's school yesterday. She was super excited! It's a program for dads. He got to spend the day at her school, he had a schedule and did something with each grade throughout the day. He got to spend more time in Payton's class, eat lunch with her, and they even did the moring announcements. 

After achool, on her birthday... We went to Build a Bear and then went to dinner at Dairy Queen.

Phil was finally able to eat lunch with Payton for the first time a couple of weeks ago!

Kinder Egg Hunt

Yesterday Paisley and I went to Payton's egg hunt at school. It was only for the kindergarteners, I figured Paisley would freak out and want her own basket so I brought hers with a few empty eggs in it. Thank goodness I did, however she still tried to take Payton's away from her. 

I have a few more pictures on my big camera, but it was so hard trying to take pictures and chase Paisley around. So these were the best I could get and they are on my phone. 

Kinder Zoo Research Day

This morning the kids were able to show off their research that they have done on a zoo animal. Payton chose a Zebra. Which I was glad, because I was able to order this super cute zebra costume on Amazon. Easy for me and cute too!! 

Kinder Zoo Field Trip

A couple of weeks ago, we went on Payton's first field trip to the Zoo. It was cold and wet out!! The kids enjoyed the rain, but I think most parents could have done without 😀

And she rode the school bus for the first time. She thought it was cool that she didn't have to wear a seatbelt.
