Alphabet Book

Payton and I made an alphabet book a couple of days ago. I had lots of foam rectangles and foam letters. I really want her to learn the letters. Like to identify what each letter is. I thought this might be a good way to help her learn them! Plus, it’s a fun craft! I haven’t attached them. But, I do plan to punch wholes and get some kind of ring time thing to make it a “book”. She was pretty proud of it! 

Her favorite letter….. pretty much the one she picks out anytime she sees a “R”, she tells me!

And then of course a “P” for Payton!!!

 

Letter B, #2, and Color Brown

On Monday we did another little learning activity with the girls! This time Hunter joined in too!!

They learned the letter “B”, the #2, and the color brown!!

Then, Hunter went home. Addisyn and Payton played outside for a couple of hours!

       

Color Green, Letter R, & Shape Circle

This past Monday after gymnastics, Shada and I did a little “teaching” to the girls! We plan to do this every week. I want to put Payton in a MDO program, but for right now I am just going to teach her some stuff at home. We are currently doing the Dave Ramsey plan. And I want to stick with it for a bit, then I will put her in something so she can interact with other kids!!

Making circles with paint!

                 We also cut out a letter R and a circle for them to glue on a piece of paper. I plan to do this for all the letters and then put it in a notebook for Payton so that she can look back through it. Kind of like flashcards… but I think she will get more excited looking at something SHE did!! :)

Letter “R” is actually a letter Payton already knew. And a circle. And the color green. But, I am anxious for the weeks that she doesn’t know what they are but can work with her more to know them all!
