Today Payton is 22 Months Old!!!! 2 more months until she is a TWO YEAR OLD!!! Oh this makes me sad!! I mean happy, but I want her to stay a baby! Not how it works out, I know!! :)
I will say that this month started out as being very WHINY!!!! But, she has overcome that somewhat the past week or so.
I don’t have any pictures to post. I will try to take some later and post. But, I wanted to get all this good info posted so I wouldn’t forget!!! :)
What is Payton up too? OH SO MUCH!!
Loves to talk! I find that she says a new word everyday!! Sometimes she even says stuff, and I have to stop and think “How on earth did she know how to say that?”
- Payton tells you “Bless you” when you sneeze
- If you are sitting down, she tells you “Get up, Mommy”
- Tells you she wants “snack in bowl”
- Started trying to tell me what color things are. Her favorite color to say is “Purple & Blue” She doesn’t always get them right, but hey were on the right path, I think!
- If someone is over, and they head to the bathroom.. She tells me (i.e. Papaw tee-tee.. I tell her that’s right, then when she hears the toilet flush.. she says Papaw ALL none) Makes me smile!! :)
- Will randomly yell out “Ta, Darter, Marla” Grace, Parker, Aunt Marla
- Says “Basketball” (not perfectly of course…) she loves to play with her ball outside and throw it in the basketball goal
- When she plays with cars she says “vroom, vroom” and drives the truck or car back n forth
- Loves her chanchet (BLANKET)
- Payton sings “I love you, you love me” from Barney. And it is very clear to understand! So sweet!!
- When Mickey Mouse Clubhouse starts.. they do a role call.. Donald, Daisy, Pluto…etc, and she yells all of their names out!! Makes me SMILE!!!!
- Payton says THANK YOU after just about everything.. Hope this sticks forever :)
- Payton says Bye-Bye, See ya laler (Later)
- Always telling me pants, shirt, socks… She loves to change her clothes and pick out what she wants to wear
- Loves to eat at her little table. This is pretty much where she eats at every meal
- When we pull into the driveway she says “Were home”
- When she sees something she thinks is neat I guess.. She says “OH WOW”
- She says “It’s Night Night time”
Payton is shy. It takes her a little bit of time to warm up to people she doesn’t know. She loves her Aunts, cousins, and grandparents!!
FOOD: WE WASTE A LOT OF FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Payton is SUCH a picky eater. I do not know what else to do… I guess she will eat when she wants… But, it is frustrating at times when she won’t eat hardly anything. Makes it hard for me to want to cook anything for dinner. I am always having to make two things. Something for Phil and I, and then something for Payton!!
These are a few things she eats. But, not every time will she even eat these things. It is hit or miss.
- Pizza
- Chicken Nuggets (Loves Ketchup)
- Cheese
- Cheese its
- Bananas
- Oranges
- Spaghetti
- Raisins
- Grapes
- Doritos
- Cheetos
- Popsicles (I have started buying the sugar free.. then I do not feel so bad)
Payton loves to go outside! I am not looking forward to the hot summer days.. But I think we will be spending a lot of time at the pool again this summer! She had been playing in her sand and water cart a lot lately. And really enjoys to swing!
Loves to watch TV. And maybe I let her watch it too much, but most of the time I feel like she is learning a lot. I think that is where she learns some of the stuff she says when I know I haven’t taught her that! Her favorites are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Word World, Barney, and anything else on KERA.
SLEEP:
- Goes to bed around 8:30
- Sleeps 12 hours or more
- Take one nap, at 1:30 p.m. and sleeps about 2 hours usually
- Takes her baby, Minnie, and another baby to bed with her. As well as her chachet (Blanket)
- The only baby she cuddles with is her “BABY” she hold her through the night, or at least I think she does because each time I go to check on her she is holding only her and the other baby’s are on the other side of the crib
Wears size 4 diapers, just using them all up and then she will start wearing size 5.
Wears size 2T clothes.
Getting better at brushing her teeth. Still a challenge on most days.
Wears size 8 shoes.
