Snow - Round 3

We went back out again.... I forgot to let Payton try the snow. Although, she was not too interested in eating it!!

I am sure this won't be my last "Snow" post. This is like a once in a childhood/lifetime for Payton!!!

The piece of snow on her jacket was dropped there, right by here mouth, I thought maybe she would try to eat it... Nope!!

Umm... no thank you Mommy

Look at that face... Momma you are crazy!!! :)

Snow - Round 2

We went back out this afternoon for some more fun in the snow!!

Also, got a quick video!! :)

Snow, snow, & more snow!!

We were excited to wake up to this...

I can't believe that it has already snowed TWICE since Payton has been born! That is like a record!!

I can hardly get Payton to smile like she usually does (this past week anyways)... As I mentioned before, she is showing her personality. The next two pictures are the faces she has been making. Along with the "look" she makes some kind of sound, like ohhhwhoo... It's still cute :)

Pots & Pans

My sister gave us their old kitchen set since Parker got a new one for Christmas. She isn't quite ready to stand and play in the kitchen but she sure does love to play with the pots and pans.

Ignore her hair.... during breakfast I had to pull her hair back because she likes to yank the spoon and then the baby food slings everywhere. That is also why she doesn't have any clothes on!! :)

Payton has really started showing her personality this past week. She throws fits and makes mean/funny faces. This is kind of how her face looks... how she looks at us when she doesn't like what we are doing! :) It is also the face she makes when she doesn't know you or she is unsure of you just yet.

Target vs Pampers

A friend of mine Megan told me about the Target diapers and wipes. We had a play date the other day and she showed me both. So I thought why not try it out. I didn't buy the wipes yet because I am so stocked up on Huggies and Pampers wipes for now that I do not need any yet. But, I bought the Target diapers to try, and I love them!! They feel thicker than the Pampers do. Don't get me wrong, I will still be using Pampers at night (for now anyways) but why not use these Target diapers during the day? They are so much cheaper. I loved the price too. Thanks Megan for sharing this with me!!

Video (Clapping & Bye-Bye

This isn't the greatest video. She is clapping so much and waving bye bye is hit or miss. But she does know what it means!! :)

(FYI.... Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was on therefore I think she was a little preoccupied.. I should have turned it off)

Baby book

Before Payton was ever born I started her a scrapbook. I did pages for her throughout my whole pregnancy. I had a lot of spare time before April 28, 2009. Phil was gone, I only worked 4 days a week, and then I lost my job so I was off 7 days a week. Well since Payton came into the world things have a bit a bit different. I have been a mommy 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. So, I have not had a lot of time to sit down and do scrap booking, as she takes up the majority of my time.

I blog so that my family and friends can keep up with Payton and our busy life. But, I also blog so that I will not forget the things that Payton does. My plan is to turn this blog into a book for Payton so that she will always have it. But- I got to thinking and I really want her to have a baby book of just pictures- kind of like I do... although when you are the 3rd child there are never as many pictures of you as there are of your older siblings. :)

Ok I will get to the point of this blog - I was going through pictures on my computer and realized that I have over 2500 pictures. Are ALL of these of Payton? No- not all... but most.. yes. Is that a lot? So I think printing pictures for her baby book is going to be pretty tough. I have printed pictures here and there... but out of all the pictures on my computer I maybe have printed 40 of the pictures. That is sad, I know. So not only is it going to take me forever to go through them all, but it is going to cost a pretty penny. But my goal is after I do these first 9 months, I will keep up with printing pictures each month. Hopefully I stick with it!!

Going through "some" pictures I came across pictures that made me smile and some tear up. I can't believe how fast she has grown up. It's like this isn't the same kid I gave birth to just over 9 months ago. They truly grow up way too fast.

Here are some pictures I look at and think "Oh my gosh she has grown up!!!"
