Last Wednesday

Last Wednesday Payton and I ran lots of errands and got pedicures. We also were getting a new roof put on so we were gone the first half of the day so we didn't have to sit and listen to all the banging. I was up at 6:45 when they first got to the house. Payton slept through A LOT of banging on the roof. She didn't get up until 8:45. I even went in her room and took a picture and she didn't move.

Then the evening we went to Payton's friend, Hunter's 5th birthday party at Chuckee Cheese.

Build a Bear/Pony

After my Dr. appointment last week we told Payton we would take her to Build a Bear because she wanted to get a My little pony. But, before we went into the store we stopped to get a cookie.

This is the one I got, so bad, but so good!!!

18 Weeks and 3 days

Yesterday I had my 18 week check up and my sono to check to make sure everything is good with the baby. She was moving her hands all around. We saw her yawning and the sonographer said she was eating some lunch. :) Her brain, spine, legs, arms, fluid, etc. All looks good.

My placenta is low so they are going to monitor me. It can cause bleeding, which thus far I have been good so I am hoping and praying that it will stay this way. I am just going to take it easy and not over do it.

17 Weeks

I am actually 18 weeks today, but I wanted to post about 17 weeks since I will be posting about week 18 later this week. I know my self portraits aren't the best, but that is how I have taken pictures thus far!! :)

How I am feeling? - I am feeling better than the first trimester, however if I do too much or don't get enough sleep then I begin to feel nauseous. It is crazy, because I do not remember this happening with Payton. And I even had a job and worked nights when I was pregnant with her. But, I guess I didn't have a 4 year old I was keeping up with either. :) - I am already not sleeping that great. It may partly be our mattress, but I can't seem to get comfortable and I am not even near as big as I am going to be. I have pillows propped up all around me so that I am not laying flat on my back. And trying to avoid positions where my hands fall asleep. - I wake up about 3-4 times to go to the bathroom. - I am usually awake 2 hours throughout the night. My mind races about all the things I want to do and I just can't sleep well. - I am feeling the baby move periodically. Not every single day though.

Vacation Countdown

The other day Payton and I made a vacation countdown calendar. This way she can hopefully become more familiar with her numbers and of course this vacation we have been talking about for months.... She will see that it is coming soon!!! :) Every morning (well the past two mornings) she has to tell me what day/number we are on and then she moves the sun. She made a beach ball for the day we are leaving!!

Paisley Gayle

I didn’t make it start with a P on purpose, its just a name that we both liked and agreed upon and it kind of stuck from the beginning. We had the girl name, and while I thought it was a boy we could never come up with a boy name. In the back of my mind I pictured us having a Payton and Paisley, but again I still was thinking she was going to be a boy. I am always wrong. If you ever want to know what you are going to have, then ask me and whatever I say it is the opposite!! :) True story.

  

  

Last Day of Swim Lessons

Tuesday was Payton’s last day of swim lessons for the season. She has come a long ways since she started back in March I think it was. We will try to start back next March again. Hopefully, as she gets older she will remember more and more each year.

Mommy & Me Monday

On Monday Payton and I had a Mommy and me sort of day. We got up and went to the movies first thing. We saw Despicable Me 2. After the movie she asked if we could go swimming, and I told her no I didn’t think so. But, then we decided to call Pam and see if we could go over to Phil’s dads house. So we went home grabbed our stuff and then went to grab some lunch at McDonald's then headed to there house. We swam for a bit and then came home. It was a fun filled day for us!!
