Sunday dinner

This past Sunday we went to Phil’s dads house to have dinner. We got to take our niece Kylie with us as well!

Suckers

I have been using suckers as bribery… I’m not going to lie. When we go to the store and Payton won’t stay in the cart or the stroller then I give her a sucker and she does great for me… (usually).

Payton, Hunter, and Parker… Eating a sucker. They were coloring with markers and well it was getting a little out of hand so I bribed them with these.. and they are watching Elmo!! :)

Anything Baby Boutique

A little over a year and a half ago....my mom, sister, and I started talking about opening our own business. We wanted to make personalized baby items: such as bibs, burp cloths, onesies, bloomers/diaper covers, dresses, hooded towels, bags, etc.

And soon after we discussed our dream of opening this business.....I had a baby, Marla got pregnant with Grace, and life just took us in a different direction.

This past July, something finally started to click. We started trying to make samples of what we wanted to sell, learning all that we could about starting up a business, getting our business registered, pricing, getting our tax ID, buying wholesale, making lots of mistakes.....learning so much.

And now....we are excited to announce that .....Anything Baby Boutique has launched.

We opened up our shop on Etsy about 3 weeks ago and have been filling out the ropes. And now I just wanted to share it with all of you. This can maybe explain most of the reason I have been absent on the blog!

We are excited about where we are now, but are looking forward to adding more items as we can.

Fall Fun Fest 2010

On Halloween afternoon we took Payton to the Fall Fun Fest at church. It was fun and she got some candy. She is a little too young to go trick or treating yet, but I think maybe next year. Or, I even think sitting outside our house and handing out candy to the trick or treaters would be fun for her.

Anyways, she was also a little too young for a lot of the things at church. Although, there were a few things set up in the nursery area for her to do. She enjoyed walking around and acting “big”.
