Christmas- Part 2,3, & 4

We started our morning out at our house, then Phil's moms, then went to Marla's house for Christmas with my mom and Terry.

After Payton woke up, I gave her a bottle and she went back to sleep so I laid her in our bed.



Then, she woke up for good and we went outside of course for the white Christmas.

Then time to open presents!!

8 Month Birthday

Today Payton is 8 months old. I can hardly believe how fast time has flown by.

What Miss Priss is up to these days.

- recently started wearing Size 4 diapers
- is now eating 2ND Gerber foods
- does not like to be on her tummy for long
- loves to stand, but cannot do it alone
- reaches for you to pick her up
- wants to see anything and everything going on around her
- eating 6 oz, usually every 3 hours, sometimes longer
- will only fall asleep with a bottle or in the car
- stopped sleeping through the night, but this past week has started again, I just let her cry when or if she wakes up through
the night. (mean Mommy I know)
- loves playing in the floor (with mommy sitting right next to her)
- has 2 teeth
- talks up a storm (baby talk)
- gets excited when she sees people she knows (she has really taking a liking to Uncle Geoff and Aunt Marla this past month)
- likes for me to read her books, she likes to try and turn the pages
- dances when she hears music
- grabs for everything in sight
- is very ticklish
- loves her cousin Parker... and all of her toys :)
- loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & Word World
- wearing 12-18 months clothes
- would rather sit up than lay down (most of the time)
- loves bath time and splashing water everywhere
- has started throwing fits (Phil says just like me) she arches her back and kicks, she also does this in her car seat when she is ready to get out

Some of this info may not matter to anyone but me, I do this so that I will not forget.

Since Payton got so many toys for Christmas, we decided to make our office a playroom.

We knew that she would get oh so many toys for Christmas, so my mom went ahead and bought us the shelf. I love it! All of her toys fit perfectly and are now all in one room.





P.S. (To Mom & Terry) Phil says he doesn't want you to buy him anything for Christmas next year, he says just whatever you buy Payton, put it together for him. :)



Payton is such a joy to our lives. We love her more than any amount of words can describe.

White Christmas

We were literally out there less than a minute, I promise!! :)

We waited a little too long to go outside, it was almost melted. But we still caught a few since it was her first Christmas!!

Do you think Santa came to see Payton?

When I get enough energy to go through all of her Christmas pictures and post our LONG day.... then I will!! :) But this is all you get for now!!

Santa Claus is coming to town!!

Last night Marla and I took the girls to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop. We had a good time.

Payton was excited and was so good while we waited in line!1













You all know this kid smiles when she sees a camera, but I think she was just a little unsure of Santa!! :)

Bath time like a big girl!!

I started putting Payton in the big bath tub over a week ago. She actually took her first bath at Aunt Marla's house with Parker. So, from then on she has been taking baths here at home in the big girl tub!!

She loves it. It was a bit of work trying to get her to even look up at the camera.
