Happy 11 Months!!!

 

I honestly can not believe that Payton will be ONE next month!! Where has all the time gone? Some days I get sad that she is growing up so fast, yet I love all the moments and watching her grow up and do new things.

Bath time:

• I give you a bath every other night, unless we have been out and about all day then I give you an “extra” bath.
• You love bath time. You love to splash the water and you love to play with the blue Cowboy cup.
• You don’t like to get out of the bath, most nights you cry and throw a small fit after I get you out.

Bedtime:

• You go to bed between 7:30 & 8
• You take your last bottle at that time.
• I rock you and feed you your bottle.
• You hold your right hand under my chin and your left hand you hold my left fingers. It is the sweetest thing, and it melts my heart!
• I usually lay you down wide awake on your back and you immedietly turn over to your tummy. Some nights when you are SO exhausted you are already asleep when I lay you down.

Naptime:

• You have not always been the best napper for me, however over the past month you have gotten so much better.
• You are now sleeping anywhere from 1 hour – 3 hour naps. If you sleep 3 hours then that is your one nap for the day, if you sleep an hour, you sometimes will then take another nap in the afternoon.
• You take a bottle to go to sleep, but sometimes if you are tired enough you let me rock you.
• I have to lay you on your tummy so that you will stay asleep and pat your bottom for a minute.

Eating:

• You are a good eater.
• You love yogurt! You usually eat this in the mornings for breakfast.
• You love chicken.
• You love mandarin oranges.
• You feed yourself most things, unless it of course requires a spoon and then I do it.
• For snacks you eat Gerber cheese puffs, banana puffs, & some Gerber cookies.
• I think applesauce is your all time favor. You eat this just about everyday.
• You enjoy eating pizza

MISC:

• You have discovered your vocals. You scream loud and then laugh because you think it is funny. (Which it is… we laugh every time)
• You are very attached to me (mommy) right now. Maybe this is because we spend all day every day together :)
• You love your cousin Parker, she makes you laugh. Ya’ll have both started giggling with each other and I love to hear that. Makes me smile so much
• You love to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & Word World
• You are TERRIFIED of the vacuum cleaner.
• You love to go outside whether it is freezing cold or sunny
• Wearing size 4 diapers
• Wearing some 18 months clothes but mostly 24 months
• You have 6 teeth- 4 on top and 2 on bottom; but you have a couple more coming in that I can see
• You know what “No” means, but you do not like it when you are told “NO”
• You reach and grab for anything and everything that is in sight
• You have been really whiney the past month, I don’t know what it is caused from. You want me to hold you most of the day :)
• When you see your Daddy, you start to say Da-Da-Da-Da! Makes us both smile!
• You love to swing outside! It is your favorite!

Talking:

• You can say Ma-Ma (Mama)
• You can say Da-Da (Dada)
• You say Na-Na-Na-Na which we have figured out usually means “yes” or you want something.
• You speak all kinds of giberish, I love hearing you talk. You talk as if you are really trying to tell us something.
• You can say Bye-Bye and it is the cutest thing.

Playing:

• You usually like for me to sit right by you while you play.
• You are climbing on me constantly.
• If you could sit in my lap ALL day, I think you would.
• You love playing with balls. You can throw them (the best you can). You think it is funny when we throw the ball back to you.
• You love playing with your talking ELMO book that Gran and Papaw got you.
• You love playing with your fake food and kitchen set.
• You have really taken a liking to your baby. You give her kisses and pat her back. It is the sweetest moment.

Mobility:

• When you are laying on your tummy you can move to a sitting position
• You can roll all over the room
• You can scoot backwards
• You have been scooting forward some, not all the time
• You pulled up on the ottoman by yourself
• You try and pull up on me (mommy) quite often
• You are trying so hard to crawl, you are almost there

 

   

You are the sweetest little girl! We love you so much. You bring so much to joy to our lives. We can always count on you to make us smile or laugh! We love you so much Payton Ann!!!
