Ornaments

This past week Kristina and I made homemade Christmas ornaments. We used clear ornaments that came from Hobby Lobby, some glitter from Hobby Lobby, and some Mop and Glow from Kristina’s cleaning supply bucket!!

I don’t have pictures of step by step, because well- I was thinking at the time. So I just took some pictures of the finished product. Kristina found the idea on Pinterest. Just add a little mop and glow to the clear ornament, swoosh it around, and once that is done you can add your glitter. Just shake the ornament until the glitter is in there evenly! And Tah-Dah!! You have new ornaments.

I used black, green, red, and a white. The white didn’t show up that great, but it looks like it is frosted so I guess they look kind of cool.

They have all different shapes and sizes of clear “DIY” ornaments at Hobby Lobby. If you are looking for new ornaments or want to add something different to your tree, I suggest doing this. It is very simple. I thought it would take a long time and be super messy. But,, wasn’t bad at all.

Now these litter suckers… well yeah they were a bit hard. Only because the opening to them was very small.. So that is why you see excess glitter around some of them! :)

These were or are my favorite. They were the easiest and really the prettiest to me.

There is one missing from here… I guess the clear part of the box came off.. and well I dropped one and it broke!!

That is about all the shapes and sizes I did. I am hoping I have enough to go on my tree and mix with some of the red and white ones I already have. If not, I guess I will go get more and decorate some more! I can’t wait to decorate for Christmas!! :)
