Moving right along...
I went to the doctor today. I am 17 weeks and 2 days along. Everything is great! I don't have a sonogram picture to share today. But I did get to hear the heartbeat and it was amazing!! The doctor got the Doppler all ready and said "Ok let's see if we can find this baby's heartbeat" then the first place he laid it was right in the middle of my stomach and there was the heartbeat. Then he said "well we didn't have to search for it" So it was pretty neat to me that the first place he checked I got to hear it. I wish that Phil could have been there with me to experience that. In less than two weeks we will find out what this little one is!! I am ready to give "it" a name! I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!! I am truly blessed and thankful for my family and friends! I couldn't make it through this time without you!!

Pictures of us...
Today we went to the park with Marla and Parker. My sister has become quite the photographer. Phil and I have very few pictures, ones that I like anyways. So Marla took some pictures of us. These will be the last pics taken of us until we become parents! When the baby comes I know who will be doing my "professional" pictures. She does such a great job. Thanks sister!

Another baby appointment
We went to the doctor on Wednesday. The baby has grown so much since 3 weeks ago. The doctor said everything looked great. This little one was moving around all over the place. She could barely get a good picture because the baby would not be still I guess you could say! It was pretty cool. I am really glad that Phil got to see it with me.

Intelligender says....
It's a girl! I took a urine test this morning called Intelligender. It is a test that somehow detects if you are having a boy or a girl. Studies show that it is 90% accurate. You can go to the website www.intelligender.com and click on "results" and compare my picture to the other pictures on there. You can see what color it would have been if it was a boy! I guess only time will tell if this is true or not! But for now, I am saying it's going to be a girl.

Baby Update
I went to the doctor today. I am actually a little further along than they measured at my first appointment. I am 10 weeks and 1 day. My due date is now May 3rd. I got another sonogram today. It's amazing how much this baby has grown in the past four weeks. Last time it looked like a little bean and this time it is starting to look more like a baby. The heart beat was very strong. I have attached another picture of our baby. If you can't tell what it is, the head is on the left and the feet are to the right. I didn't really see the arms. The baby is kind of bent over (as the Dr. labeled it) so he wasn't sure if he would get a good measurement but he did. The baby is a little bigger than an inch. He said that everything looked good. My next appointment is in three weeks on October 29th. Phil will be home for a few days then so we will get another sonogram and he will get to go to the Dr. with me.

Our Little Surprise
Phil and I found out recently that we are going to be parents. I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. My due date is May 5th. I had my first doctors appointment Wednesday September 10th. My doctor is the same doctor that delivered my niece, I thought that was kind of neat. Phil was unable to go to the doctor with me due to him being in Savannah, Georgia for training to deploy to Iraq in November. My mother went with me to my first appointment. First we saw the sac, then we saw the embryo, (I was a bit worried that we wouldn't see the heartbeat) but the next thing we knew we saw the heart beating as fast as can be. It was the most amazing thing. We are very excited! It is going to be rough with Phil being gone, but I know that everything will work out how it is supposed too! I go back to the doctor Monday October 6th and will update you more then! I have attached a picture of my first sonogram.
