Saturday night we we went to the Baylor vs Tech game at the new Cowboys stadium. My dad bought all of us tickets. We had a good time. It was so nice there. I think we were on the nicest level there was. We definetly did our share of contributing to the cost of the stadium. haha. Everything there is so expensive. I am glad that we had the opportunity to go to a game there.
Today we gave Payton a biter biscuit. She loved it, as you will see in the following videos. She is breathing hard, but that isn't because she loves these so much, it is because she has been very sick all weekend. She is doing a little better now.
Yummy yummy!!!
As I mentioned before Payton had been sick all weekend. She ran a high fever and my poor baby looked so sick. You can tell by looking at her that she doesn't feel good. She just wasn't her smiley self!!
She really has never been too big of a fan of the pacifier. Not that I am complaining or anything, but since she was so whiney all weekend I decided to try the pacifier again. (I have tried it here and there along the way but every time I did she acted as though she didn't have a clue on what to do with it.
Well today...
What's this mommy?
Almost .... so close...
GOT IT!!
I am not going to keep offering it to her, I just thought it was cute that she actually knew what to do with it this time. I swear she is growing up so fast. She learns something new each day, really.
Today our baby girl is 7 months old!!! I can really hardly believe it.
What is little Miss Payton up to?
- She is sleeping 10-12 hours straight through the night. - She takes a morning nap that lasts between 1-2 hours. On a good day she takes a 3 hour nap. - Depending on how long the morning nap depends on how long her afternoon nap lasts, usually about an hour. - She eats a fruit in the morning with rice cereal w/ fruit in it and a vegetable in the evening. - She is now eating 6 oz in each bottle, usually eats at every 3 hours. - Sitting up and playing for longer periods of time. - Laughs all the time. - Lights up when she sees someone she knows i.e. Daddy, Gramma, or Pawpa. - Notices the difference between adults and kids. - Loves going to the park and swinging. - Does not like to be left alone at all, meaning if I walk away for a min she begins to whine or cry. - Talking all the time, sounds like she is saying daddy, da-da-da-da - Has one tooth that is showing, and has one the is coming in, I can feel it when I put my finger in her mouth. - Wearing mostly 12 months clothes, a few things are 18 months. - Wearing Size 3 diapers. - Started rolling over more from front to back and back to front.
Excuse the mismatch on clothing.. I was about to put her down for nap and she needed pants...
Video of Payton playing.. she fell backwards. I think she was more interested in what was in my hand than her toy. :)
Let's try this again...
A few pictures from the other day at the park. If I hadn't mentioned before she LOVES to be outside and LOVES to swing at the park.
Crazy hair!!
Hanging on..
I love this mommy!!
And then we got her a new bath, one where she had room to play. I am not quite ready to put her in the big bathtub yet... So this will work ok for now.
Today since Phil was home with us we got to enjoy the day together as a family.
We started the day out by decorating for Christmas. This is something I have been looking forward to for a long time. :) I love decorating.
Phil put the tree up, then I did all the decorating.
Making progress...
All done- minus a tree topper which I have not found one that I jut love yet, so we may go without this year!!
This snowman I love!! So pretty!
My little baby tree on our porch.
My Aunt that recently passed away had this wreath. I knew that it didn't match much of what I had, but I thought surely I could do something with it.
And it's still a work in progress... not exactly sure how it will look when I get done with it. Nothing is glued or tied here, just trying to get some ideas for now.
Our stockings!!
We still had some things to do around the house, so Terry and my mom came over to help us!

And Payton waiting patiently through it all... not really... but she was a good girl for us as always!!!
