Payton 10 months!!

Another month has gone by. Two more months until Payton's Ladybug Birthday Party!

What is Payton up to?

Let's see....

She is a chatter box. Says all kinds of things. It is almost like she is having a conversation with us, yet we aren't sure what she is saying. She does say Mama, bye-bye, DAH-DAH, Da-Da & of course some giberish! :)

And as you all know is showing her personality with all the funny faces. I love it!

She waves bye-bye, blows kisses, claps her hands, can give you a five, shakes her head up and down for "Yes" and side to side for "No" She doesn't know what these two commands mean, but I have been teaching her to do them. And she gives sweet kisses.

She loves to dance. Anytime music comes on she starts to dance. It is the cutest thing ever!

Eating: She usually eats yogurt or applesauce with rice cereal in the mornings for breakfast. I have still been giving her a lot of the baby food. This way I know she is still getting the nutrients that she should be getting. She still eats "real" food too. She loves mandarin oranges. She is really good at feeding herself, finger foods that is. She does try to grab the spoon while I am feeding her and a lot of times the food splatters everywhere. I think within the next month we will be trying some more new things. She takes anywhere from 25-30 ounces a day. I have been giving her the formula in a sippy cup sometimes through the day. But if she is exhausted, that doesn't work to well, she prefers a bottle. Although, she does love to drink water out of her cup with all her meals.

Sleep: She take about a 30 minute nap to an hour nap. If I am lucky then longer, but not usually. She goes to bed at 7:30 and usually gets up between 5 and 6 for a bottle and then goes back to sleep until 8 or 9.

Still loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We usually watch this right before bedtime and you can't take her attention away from the TV. It is kind of a wind down for her. Although, we still watch it throughout the day sometimes, depending on how fussy or tired she is.

She likes for mommy or daddy to sit by her while she is playing. This makes it hard to get anything done during the day. Sometimes she plays well alone and sometimes she doesn't. As long as you are in the same room with her she usually does well.

She loves bath time. Enjoys splashing the water and playing with her toys.

Loves balls. If you hand this kid a ball she will play with it forever... until it rolls away and she "can't" get it. This kid is still not crawling. I put her on her tummy, she lifts up in position sometimes, but then falls back down. She can go from on side of the room to the other, but not by crawling. It is rolling back and forth, or scooting backwards.

She is wearing size 4 diapers and 18 months clothes.

Has 6 visible teeth!
