I know I have mentioned before where Payton's name came from, but here is a refresher. Back when Marla was pregnant with Parker I would say my suggestions or should I say "suggestion" and somehow no matter how many times they told me no, I would say the name Payton. (Now I am glad they didn't use this name :)) Her middle name is Ann, which is my mom's middle name and also is my nieces middle name. I wanted to post all these wonderful gifts that we have gotten with her name or initials on them. I think they are all really neat and Payton will always be able to cherish them her entire life.
Aren't these SO cute? My mom got these for Payton and pictures are soon to come of Payton wearing them :)

This is a rocking chair that Phil's Aunt Leroy made up for her... it's too cute
(Sorry I know the picture is not the best, it is the only one we had and I am currently not in possession of the chair)

This is a light cover that my sister got Payton for her nursery

My sister also got her this precious outfit.. pictures to come of her in this outfit as well!

Marla also made this adorable bow holder, which matches her room (I actually got some bows today that I can put on there :))

These are blankets that my friend Michelle's mom made...

These are hung in Payton's room, my friend Casey got these for her...

My friend Kelli made this onesie ...

My granny made these burp cloths and hooded towels!! I love them!

Like I have said before, this baby is already so spoiled and we haven't even met her yet. I am lucky to have such great friends and family (talented one's at that)!!!
Speaking of talented people, my papaw was one of the most talented men that I have ever known. He could build just about anything. He passed away back in 2003. One of the last things he did make were these rocking horses for his great grand babies. My mom got all three of us kids one so that we would have them when we had children. I had a shower today given by people at my mom and Terry's church. My mom gave me the rocking horse today. I must say the tears started rolling down my face when I read the card.
Here is a picture of what the card read...

I am so grateful that Payton has a piece of something from my papaw. I consider myself lucky to have the things that he made me and now I can share them with my daughter.
I know that had nothing to do with her name, but I had to share!!
