Baby Shower for Paisley

This past Saturday my sister, Kristina, Emily, and Shada threw me an amazing baby shower. I feel so blessed to have so many people take time to give me a shower and for those who came to my shower as well. Most know I have been praying for this baby for quite some time and so it meant a lot to me to have this baby shower.

Every thing was so nice and elegant. All the foods I love and of course cupcakes and candies on the table!

LOVE the diaper cake Marla made. I also love seeing Paisley’s name on things~~

Kind of makes it more real :)

Hate that I didn’t get a close up of the little Hershey candy wrapped. But, they were extremely cute!

Emily gave me this verse framed. I have wanted to hang this in the nursery since I found out I was pregnant.

Mad that I didn’t get a picture of all the delicious food. I think people started getting there and I never went back in to get a picture! But, it was all really yummy!

Week 28 Appointment

This past Wednesday I had my 28 week appointment and sono to check my placenta. It was still very low and had not moved up like most women’s do. I was nervous about it and thought she would have to take the baby early. But, after talking with my Dr. she made me feel much better about it and she was not worried since I am already scheduled for a c-section. And she said where she will be cutting me open to get the baby, that I would be fine and she wasn’t worried one bit. I trust my Dr. and feel like she would let me know if it was a concern, and I know she knows way more than I do! :) We will do another sono at 36 weeks just to make sure all is still good! Blood pressure is so good, crazy how last time it was so high and this time it hasn’t been at all. I am very blessed and grateful for that. She is also breech. Not worried about that either because I am having a c-section. She said she will get her out no problem!

Sweet baby face!

Pictures in the Pumpkins 2013

Last Friday Marla and I took the kids to the Arboretum to try to get some pictures in the pumpkins. Didn’t turn out quite like I wanted them too. But, as long as you get a couple of decent ones that is all that matters, right?

Sneak Peek at Paisley (26 weeks 4 days)

On Friday we went to have my 3D/4D sono done. I did this with Payton, you can look back at those here... I can't get the link to show up. Sorry. http://cottonwells.blogspot.com/2009/01/sneak-peek-of-payton.html I thought my sono went really good with Payton. And I remember being impressed. I was not impressed this time around. Of course it was amazing seeing out little girl move around. But, the lady mumbled when she talked, Phil couldn't hear a word she was saying. Not that she said much, and I asked a few questions like how much does she weigh, oh is that her hand, why is it blurry, etc. Anyhow, I guess I set my expectations a little too high. Never the less, I love hearing her heartbeat, loved seeing her sweet face, and love seeing her move around. These are the only pictures they gave me, that was my other disappointment. I feel like she didn't try to get good pictures of her. i understand that Paisley kept putting her hands on her face, but still. Ok, I am done complaining. :)

She weighs approximately 2.1lbs I am measuring pretty much right on target. My placenta is still very low. I will have a sono at my Dr. office in just over a week.
