Not sure what to do??
There have been several nights that I found that Payton has spit up/throw up in her bed. I thought that it was from it getting to hot during the night. But now it has become a pattern and it is happening more and more. She had been acting fine through the day, not spitting up. There have been a few days when she does spit up, but I have thought nothing of it since in reality babies do spit up sometimes. But it seems to be getting worse. Today she has spit up/throw up just about after each feeding she has had. I was curious if it was the acid reflux, but after reading about it I am not sure that is what it is. I am wondering if I need to change her formula to the Enfamil AR Lipil. She is on the Enfamil Gentlease Lipil for gassy fussy babies. She seems to be a very gassy baby, but then again I think most babies are. I am calling the doctor on Monday, which I am sure they will want me to bring her in. Has anyone had any experience with this happening to their baby? Or any advice for me? It scares me because I don't want her to choke on her throw up. Every time she has done it I haven't heard her or known it has happened.

My mom told me that when I was a baby, she had to burp me every half ounce or I would spit up... Maybe burping her more often would help? I wish I had some actual advice, but maybe this will do the trick!
Bless her little bones. I would just ask the Dr. what he thinks to do. Does she drink pretty fast? Maybe the burping every ounce or so would help. He'll tell u what is best though.
People will probably attack me for saying this, but you might ask the doctor if you can put a tiny bit of cereal in her bottle before bed to hold down the formula. I know they do this sometime for babies with acid reflux. Poor little thing! She is so stinking cute, Kristin!

Both of my twins had acid refulx but my daughter had it severe, almost to the point of having surgery. We had to put them on Nutramigen, it's the most expensive formula but it helped. She still spit up just not near as much and the day she turned one she quit. I had a friend who had a baby in Spet and he was doing the same thing. I told her about the formula and she called me and told me her doctor put her baby on that formula. So, you might just want to ask about it.
Lucas was doing that a lot and he was eating 2 oz every 2 hours so they changed the times. He still spits/throws up every couple of days. I burp him about every ounce to ounce and 1/2. He has a lot of gas but I don't think that it hurts him. He is eating 4oz every 3hrs I'm trying to get him to 5oz every 4 hours. So hope all is well with you and the little one.
